1. "The Shy Little Monster" by Stephanie Leavell

About a shy little monster is a lobster costume, this one is perfect for kids who may normally be afraid of all things Halloween.

2. "The Monster Mash" by Bobby Pickett

It's hard to argue with the classics!

3. "What Am I Gonna Be (For Halloween)" by Laurie Berkner

Laurie Berkner has certainly written some classics and this is a great one for kids to show off their costumes with!

4. "The Adams Family" Theme Song by Andrew Gold

This one is fun and catchy and the words can easily be changed to fit a music therapist's needs.

5. "Skeleton Dance" by the Kiboomers

This one can teach kids about their bodies and facilitate movement, a common goal in music therapy.

6. "I Love Halloween" by Stephanie Leavell

This one has a great melody and is another perfect less-spooky option.

7. "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr.

Once again, you can't mess with the classics!

8. "Monster Boogie" by Laurie Berkner

This is another great one to facilitate movement and would work well in a music therapy group!

9. "It Must Be Halloween" by Andrew Gold

In this song there are many opportunities to get a child interacting and singing along, which is so helpful for speech-focused goals.

10. "Itty Bitty Bat" by Stephanie Leavell

You can probably tell by now that we love the works of Stephanie Leavell! This is another great one for encouraging movement and remembering that Halloween doesn't have to all be scary.
